Rick is retired from his former role as Vice-President, Risk Management, at CIBC where he worked for 41 years in a variety of executive roles in Finance, Customer Relationship Management, and Risk Data Management. Rick currently serves as President & Chair, Marie Dressler Foundation which operates Marie Dressler Museum in Cobourg as well as the annual Vintage Film Festival, which began in 1992. Rick also formerly served as Treasurer of Art Gallery of Northumberland and currently is a Director of Northumberland Players. Rick and his wife Betsy moved to Cobourg from Oakville in 2011 and together they have three adult children, and three grandchildren. In 2018, the Town of Cobourg honoured Rick with the “Angus Reid Volunteer of the Year” award. Rick chairs the NHHF Nominations and Governance Committee.
