Having grown up in Northumberland County, Jan’s family is deeply rooted in our community. The importance of volunteering was instilled in her at a young age and NHH has been the beneficiary of her time for many years. Jan is a former Chair of the NHH Foundation Board of Directors, former Co-Chair of the annual Gala fundraiser and Chaired the “Care Close to Home” campaign, the success of which funded the first MRI in our community in 2007. She has twice been the President of the Rotary Club of Port Hope, and has been an active Rotarian for 21 years.

Jan knows exceptional care close to home ensures a strong and thriving community for those who live here, while also attracting new residents, tourists, students and businesses. Jan’s connections, people skills, drive and passion for giving back to the community are incredible assets to the Foundation team.
