Annual Northumberland’s Biggest Coffee Morning To Honour Three Exceptional Auxiliary Members

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – On Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 gather your friends, families and co-workers together and celebrate Northumberland’s Biggest Coffee Morning in support of the Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation.

We are looking for people,businesses or community groups to host a party to help us reach our goal of funding several new hospital beds for Northumberland Hills Hospital.

This year, Northumberland’s Biggest Coffee Morning will honour the lives of Connie Sherwin, Mary Jubenville and Gerry Walker.

“Gerry, Mary and Connie were amazing and dedicated volunteers here at NHH.
These three individuals were friendly faces seen at our hospital for many, many years. Often the first face the public saw as they walked in the doors to NHH, a kind and gentle soul pointing them in the right direction, or sharing a laugh during a tough situation,” says Natasha Jacobs, Special Events Officer of the NHH Foundation. “To pay tribute to them in this way is an absolute honour.”

Foundation Board member Wendy Ito says “Organizing a party doesn’t have to be difficult. Just gather some friends, put on some coffee and treats and enjoy each other’s company.”

For those wanting to do something different, a barbeque, a luncheon or a cocktail party are also ideas to be considered.
