Wigs help Make Care Better!

Representatives of Medical Image Wigs recently presented a donation of 10 wigs, 10 hats and 1 head scarf to the Lions and Lioness Cancer and Supportive Care Clinic at Northumberland Hills Hospital.  Lora Collins, second from left, founded Medical Image Wigs in 1998.  With her experience in hairdressing, she recognized a demand for natural looking wigs and hairpieces for those living with temporary or permanent hair loss.  Joining Lora for the presentation is Tara Collins, Manager of Medical Image Wigs (far left).   Tara was born and raised in the Cobourg community and was instrumental in the decision to return to her home community to make this donation.  Patient Anna Urso (seated) and Charge Nurse, Andrea Doyle-Philp were grateful to receive the donation.
