Katie Ito joined the Foundation in November 2025 as the Communications and Special Events Coordinator.

Katie supports the planning, development, and delivery of print, digital, social and multimedia communications to build both internal and external awareness of the Foundation, special events and key projects. Katie also assists in the events and community engagement portfolio. Katie’s background is in communications and events with her degree from Toronto Metropolitan University. As someone that was born and raised in Cobourg, Katie is excited to be working for a Foundation that has been a part of her life growing up.
