NHH Foundation Gala Tickets on Sale September 9 to Help Fund Endoeye Scopes
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Proceeds from Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s 25th anniversary gala will help support NHH’s Surgical Services program, with tickets to attend the event available online starting at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, September 9. Earlier this year, organizers announced this year’s gala, A Silver Soirée – Celebrating 25 Years of Giving will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the LiUNA Local 183 Lifelong Learning Centre with a twist on the traditional.
Returning to an in-person, single location event, A Silver Soirée, will be an elevated cocktail reception, with many of the much-loved elements from past galas returning, including delicious food, dancing, a raffle opportunity, and a community-wide online auction.
“I’m excited to be co-Chairing this year’s Gala with Dr. Emma Smith,” shares Dr. Kate Everdell. “The Foundation’s Gala is known in our community as an elaborate and lively evening, and we both have great memories from attending in previous years. With the change in format this year, we’re working alongside a dedicated group of Cabinet volunteers to bring some new energy to the event, offer a unique experience, and focus on celebrating the years of generosity our community has shown to our hospital.”
Tickets are priced at $250 per person and will be available online at www.NHHGala.ca beginning at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, September 9. Funds raised through this silver anniversary event will help fund Endoeye Scopes, which are special types of cameras used during minimally invasive surgeries to give the surgeon a clear, high-definition view inside a patient’s body. These scopes help to make surgeries faster and more precise, and allow for faster recovery of patients.
The annual Gala event, hosted most recently in a community-wide format Galalicious, is the most financially successful event organized by NHH Foundation. Since inception in 2001, more than $4.1 million has been raised to help fund priority medical equipment and technology to support the delivery of modern patient care at NHH.
