NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation has launched an online auction in support of the 25th anniversary fundraising Gala, A Silver Soirée. Featuring more than 150 items and experiences, the auction will remain live for bidding until 2:00p.m. on Friday, November 14.
“The support from businesses and individuals across our community has been absolutely outstanding,” shares Therese Brennan-Hunt, Auction Chair. “We are grateful to all those who have donated – both returning and new – their willingness to support our hospital. Thanks to their incredible generosity, this is our largest auction yet and there truly is something for everyone!”
Proceeds from this year’s Gala, including those raised through the auction, will help fund Endoeye Scopes for NHH’s Surgical Services program. These special types of cameras are used during minimally invasive surgeries to give the surgeon a clear, high-definition view inside a patient’s body, making surgeries faster and more precise, and allowing for faster recovery of patients.
