NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Marking its 25th year, Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s Gala welcomed more than 300 people on November 8, 2025, including donors, physicians, and business leaders. Touted as an upscale cocktail party, the evening focused on celebrating an incredible quarter century of support for NHH. Exemplifying this support and an overall commitment to community wellbeing were the 22 sponsors who partnered with the Foundation in support of A Silver Soirée.
“As a relatively new member of the Gala Cabinet, this was my first time supporting an in-person Gala and I was blown away by the response from our business community,” shares Carly Wardle, Gala Sponsorship Chair. “Seeing the generous support of our hospital from both new and returning sponsors was inspiring and helped to turn the anniversary event into an unforgettable evening.”
Joining A Silver Soirée as Platinum Sponsors were HTM Insurance, Cameco, Canadian Tire, Spoolon Manufacturing Ltd., CPS Wood Products, Vandermeer Toyota, and Enbridge Inc. With seven businesses participating at this level, the 2025 event was tied with the 2022 evening for the most Platinum Sponsors to date in the gala’s history.
Gold Sponsors included Belden Canada ULC, IBEW Local 353, Tribute Communities, Defined Designs, Lubricon Specialty Lubricants and Chemicals, and The Balder Corporation/Dez Capital; and Silver Sponsors were The Moulton Family, Part Time CFO Services, Trade Tech Industries, and Stadtke Plumbing and Heating Ltd.
“In these financially challenging times, it was tremendous to see so many stand firmly behind our hospital,” continues Wardle. “Sponsors at every level demonstrated their commitment to supporting and improving healthcare for our community and we are very grateful.”
Rounding out the group of 22 participating sponsors were Spirit Sponsors, Karen Chalovich Investment Group, SLD Electric Inc., Koellner Tax and Accounting Services, Third Street Law and Moffatt Bros Roofing.
Proceeds from this year’s Gala, including those raised through the auction, will help fund Endoeye Scopes for NHH’s Surgical Services program. These special types of cameras are used during minimally invasive surgeries to give the surgeon a clear, high-definition view inside a patient’s body, making surgeries faster and more precise, and allowing for faster recovery of patients.
Total funds raised will be announced with the release of a post-Gala digital publication on Monday, December 8. Additional details on the difference community support makes at NHH can be found at www.NHHFoundation.ca.
