NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation is delighted to announce the return of the annual gala event for its 26th year. This year, guests will be invited to step into an evening inspired by the timeless charm and elegance of classic Hollywood with the theme of Singin’ in the Rain: Hollywood Style. Taking place on November 7, 2026 at LiUNA Local 183 Lifelong Learning Centre, the gala will once again feature an elevated cocktail reception, a format introduced during last year’s milestone 25th anniversary celebration.
“Last year’s anniversary celebration marked an exciting new chapter for the Gala,” shares Rhonda Cunningham, NHH Foundation CEO. “The response to the refreshed format was overwhelmingly positive and provided a more dynamic, engaging guest experience while continuing the longstanding tradition of raising critical funds for our hospital. We’re delighted to bring that experience back as we gather to help modernize breast healthcare for patients of NHH.”
The annual Gala is the most financially successful event organized by NHH Foundation and the impact of the past 25 years can be seen, felt, and heard at NHH. That impact is a reminder of the Foundation’s recently launched marketing campaign: Community Lives Here – in every hallway, every patient room, and every moment of care. Community support is present in the advanced equipment that allows healthcare teams to diagnose earlier, treat more precisely, and respond more quickly when every second matters.
“This year, we are focused on investing in critical equipment and technology for NHH’s breast health program that will improve access, accuracy, and the patient experience,” continues Cunningham. “Every ticket purchased, sponsorship committed to, and donation made will raise funds to purchase both new mammography and ultrasound units as well as wireless breast tissue localization.”
Though Singin’ in the Rain: Hollywood Style takes place in November, the dedicated 2026 Gala Cabinet has already mobilized to plan a seamless, elegant experience for guests.
Tickets to attend Singin’ in the Rain: Hollywood Style will go on sale Wednesday, September 16 through the Foundation’s website, www.NHHFoundation.ca. In the meantime, Gala organizers are encouraging people to save the date and watch for future announcements.
