Commemorative Giving

Celebrate the people and moments that matter most with a gift that keeps on giving.

Honour a Life. Celebrate a Legacy. Make a Lasting Difference.

Commemorative giving offers a meaningful way to honour someone special while making a positive impact on the care our community receives. Whether you’re remembering a loved one, celebrating a milestone, or expressing gratitude, your gift creates a legacy that keeps care close to home – for your family, your neighbours, your future.

In Memory

Making a gift in honour of a loved one or friend is a meaningful way to honour their memory – while helping others at the same time.

When making your gift, please be sure to tell us who you are making your gift in memory of and who you would like us to notify. We will send a personalized acknowledgment to the individual or family, without disclosing the gift amount.

In Celebration

Celebration gifts in honour of anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, retirements, holidays or any other occasion are a beautiful way to link your personal story with a cause close to your heart — turning love and remembrance into lasting good for our community.

We will send a letter or card to the person being honoured to advise them of your generosity.

Summer Bellamy11
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
For years, community support has helped bring vital breast health technology and resources to NHH. This October, we’re raising funds to modernize our breast health program with a new 3D mammography, advanced ultrasound, bone density scanning, and wire-free localization technology. Learn more about key investments to be made here.

Together, we can bring the benefits of new technology to those who depend on our hospital, while supporting earlier detection and improved comfort for patients like Summer.

“When you donate to NHH, you may never know exactly whose life your donation touches, but there is a very good chance it will eventually be someone you know,” shares Summer. “Donations aren’t just buying equipment. They’re helping give people answers. They’re helping shorten the distance between uncertainty and diagnosis. And they’re helping healthcare professionals provide the kind of care they want to provide.”
