NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – Organizers of Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Gala, A Silver Soirée, are pleased to announce the 2025 event raised the most base funds of any gala to date. This year’s milestone celebration welcomed more than 300 people for an elevated cocktail reception on November 8, 2025, and raised over $310,000 in support of NHH’s Surgical Services program.
In a message to the community, shared in the post-Gala digital publication on the Foundation’s website, Gala Co-Chairs, Dr. Kate Everdell and Dr. Emma Smith shared, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came together to make this event such a success. Whether you attended, sponsored, donated to the auction, pledged a gift to Fund Me, or made a contribution in any other way, this result would not have been possible without you. Thank you for believing in the care we deliver every day at NHH.”
Additional information about the 2025 celebration, along with photos from the evening, and details on past gala success can be found in the publication now live at www.NHHFoundation.ca/Gala.
Proceeds from A Silver Soirée will fund two operating tables as well as Endoeye Scopes – special cameras used during minimally invasive surgeries to provide a clear, high-definition view inside a patient’s body, making surgeries faster and more precise, and allowing for faster recovery of patients.
The annual Gala event, hosted most recently in a community-wide format Galalicious, is the most financially successful event organized by NHH Foundation. Since inception in 2001, more than $4.5 million has been raised to fund medical equipment and technology to support the delivery of modern patient care at NHH.
