NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – After 35 weeks of anticipation, Northumberland Hills Hospital (NHH) Foundation has announced the Ace of Spades was caught, bringing their Catch the Ace lottery to a close.
The winning ticket (888190381) was purchased by Cindy Barrett and drawn through the online ticket generator on April 29, 2026. Barrett had selected envelope 51, which was opened to reveal the Ace of Spades. With this win, Barrett has taken home both the progressive jackpot and weekly prize for total winnings of $26,076.
“I was really playing as a way to support the hospital,” says Barrett. “I never imagined I would win, but this is very exciting.”
“We are grateful to all who supported NHH by participating in Catch the Ace,” says Courtney Ker, NHH Foundation Manager, Community Giving. “Every ticket purchased was more than just a chance to win; it was a meaningful contribution to help fund medical equipment at our hospital.”
With this round of Catch the Ace now closed, NHH Foundation has paused the program for review, but encourages the community to stay tuned for future announcements and other opportunities to get involved in supporting NHH.
