If a member or members of the NHH team made a difference during your visit, consider honouring them with a Gift of Gratitude.
Never Underestimate the Power of Saying "Thank You"
Many patients and families ask how they can express gratitude for the exceptional care they received during their time with us at NHH. That is why we established the Gift of Gratitude Program.
During your visit, was there a nurse, doctor, therapist, food service worker, volunteer, or other caregiver who helped you through your journey? Consider honouring them with a Gift of Gratitude.
When a donation is made honouring a hospital staff member, that special staff member will receive a personalized message from you, as well as an exclusive Gift of Gratitude pin as a physical reminder of your appreciation. Each time a staff member is honoured they will receive an honour pin – bronze for their 1st honour, silver for their 2nd honour and gold for their 3rd honour!
If you choose to recognize a team or unit within the hospital, the team will receive a Gift of Gratitude unit certificate to be hung in their department. This certificate will be presented at a staff meeting or huddle and your comments will be read for the team to hear.
All honourees, both individuals and team, will get their photo taken to be shared amongst staff and on NHH Foundation’s social media pages.
